Meet Jill Nance

With over 20 years of experience, Jill is a skilled attorney whose practice focuses on estate planning and business law. She founded Nance Legal, PLLC with one purpose in mind: to help her clients build their legacy, whether it be through planning for future generations or operating their small businesses.

Prior to opening the firm, Jill served as General Counsel for one of Austin’s “Fast 50” fastest growing businesses, with 21 locations and 67 registered LLCs across 12 states. In addition, Jill litigated for five years; closed small business loans to help clients grow their businesses for ten years; taught graduate level courses in business law for twenty-four semesters; and drafted numerous estate plans for private clients.

Jill earned her J.D. /M.B.A. in 2002 from Texas Tech University and graduated with Honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1999.

In her free time, Jill enjoys exercising and remodeling her home, as well as attending the soccer, cheerleading, and basketball events her three teenage daughters participate in, alongside her husband Clay.
